On behalf of the administration here at the high school, we would like to thank the staff, students, and parents for an excellent start to the school year. The freshmen have transitioned smoothly into the building and are off to a great start. We will continue to work diligently to provide each student with a well-rounded education. During the 2013-14 school year, the high school met all 10 of the 10 indicators on the Local Report Card from the state of Ohio, and we are also very proud to report that our Building Report Card included one A and four B’s.

The report card is a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and collaboration of our staff, our students, and our parents here at Madison. We have very high expectations for our students in all areas, including, but not limited to, their attendance, their achievement, and their behavior. The following are a few tips to parents, regarding your son/daughter’s successful education: 1)Communicate with them daily regarding assignments and how things are going at school. 2)Monitor their progress daily through the use of Gradebook. 3)Work together with teachers and administrators on both positive and negative issues that arise. 4)Push your son/daughter to reach his/her potential; don’t allow him/her to just “get by.” Parents, we truly look forward to working with you and your son/daughter, and if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the school at anytime (419-589-2112).
